Welcome to our ICYMI update from Week 22 2022. This week we launched xMPL and 23% of circulating supply is now staked, Genesis joined as the first CeFi pool delegate on Maple Solana, and we launched the Maple merch store!

MPL staking is now live

MPL holders can now put their tokens to work to immediately benefit from Maple’s growth. First movers will receive the greatest returns as we are bootstrapping the launch with an additional 30,000 MPL.

Since launching on Monday, 23.76% of circulating MPL has been staked from 278 wallets.

Genesis bring book of business onto Maple Solana

This week we welcomed Genesis as the first CeFi pool delegate on Maple Solana. The firm who originated $44 billion in loans in Q1 2022, bring their business on-chain and contribute the largest starting capital commitment to date.

Through its GGC International Limited entity, Genesis will issue capital from its balance sheet to profitable and established crypto-native businesses Wintermute Trading and Amber Group.

"Maple Solana enables Genesis to combine aspects of traditional finance and DeFi,”  said Matt Ballensweig, Managing Director, Co-Head of Trading and Lending.
