ICYMI: Week 35 updates from Maple
Welcome to our ICYMI from week 35 2022. This week we shared our NYC plans (including DAS, SALT, Messari and our usual pancake breakfast), Pool Delegates posted their first monthly pool performance updates, RSVPs are now open for our first virtual briefing session, and UXD Protocol and Sherlock deposited large sums of capital into pools.
Monthly pool performance updates
Pool Delegates shared pool performance updates for the month of August. These provide a market commentary, loans issued, borrower concentration and more.
Access Orthogonal Credits here.
August highlights from Maven 11 Credit:
Launched their 3rd pool with $40M from institutional fully KYC’d investors.
Welcomed Nexus Mutual which deposited 10% of its treasury funds (over 15k ETH or $20m).
Satisfied all pending withdrawals in their largest USDC pool and issued their first new loan.
Maven 11 launched a Twitter account dedicated to sharing news on institutional credit underwriting in DeFi. Follow them
here.
August highlights from Orthogonal Credit:
Grown the team to 4 credit and trading professionals with over 50+ collective years of experience working at some of the largest global credit funds, investment banks, and institutional trading firms.
The biggest win for the team is that they’re back to lending with a loan to Blockfills.
Sherlock and UXD protocol deposited into pools
Both UXD Protocol and Sherlock deposited into Maple Pools.
UXD Protocol is the first DAO to deposit into Maple Solana. They’ve put idle capital to work by depositing $7M into the Credora pool. Read the full thread here.
Sherlock deposited 24% of TVL ($5M) into Maven 11’s USDC pool to provide a reliable & secure yield to stakers on their platform. For lenders, yields are currently greater than before the credit contraction, and the team from Sherlock believes that now is the right time to deposit into the Maven 11 pool for risk-adjusted returns.
