Icebreaker Pool Launch Event
This week we hosted a Pool Launch Event with Icebreaker to celebrate the launch of the $300M capacity pool that'll provide secured debt financing to blue-chip Bitcoin mining and digital asset infrastructure companies. It was hosted by Quinn (Maple Head of Growth) and he was joined by Glyn (Icebreaker CEO & Founder).
They discussed the capital markets landscape for Bitcoin miners, Icebreaker’s lending strategy and underwriting process, and the types of lenders and borrowers who are active today. They also talked about Icebreaker’s mission and dove into Glyn’s background.
Joe had a great week in Singapore
Joe had an eventful week in Singapore and moderated a panel at Token 2049 on ‘DeFi in the Aftermath of the CeFi Unwind’. He was joined by Will Villanueva from Element Finance, Doo Wan Nam from StableNode and Piers Ridyard from RDX Works. It was an insightful panel and received a lot of praise on Twitter.
He also participated in a panel hosted by FBG Capital and TON as a speaker about 'The making of a new financial system'. The moderator was Justin Hyun from TON Foundation and speakers Steve Yun from TON and Miguel Depaz from Struct Finance.
Sid was on a panel at Converge
This week Sid was in San Francisco to attend Converge22 hosted by Circle. He joined as a speaker on a panel about bringing debt capital markets on-chain alongside Sishir Varghese from Spectral, Erbil Karaman from Huma Finance and Thomas Bohner from Credix. The panel was moderated by Patrick Corker from Circle Finance.
