Today, Maven 11, an Amsterdam-founded blockchain and crypto-asset investment firm, launched a third pool on Maple. Having raised $40M from institutional lenders, loans will be issued to reputable trading firms at higher rates than before the crypto credit crunch. Maven 11 demonstrated its expertise in building a healthy and balanced loan book by maintaining a 100% clean balance on their two existing lending pools through the recent downturn.
Both Maven 11 and Maple are proud to offer a new yield opportunity for institutional lenders and timely credit lines to borrowers. As credit conditions begin to normalize, DeFi credit protocols are positioned to offer the transparency that institutions value now more than ever. All loan term details are visible on Maple and all issuances and repayments recorded on chain, transparency that isn’t shared by centralized or traditional finance organizations.
“Our journey with Maple as an on-chain credit market place started with a strong belief of transparency in capital markets. The last few months have further underwritten our bull case of transparent on-chain credit markets. Institutional investors have been noticing the innovation and efficiency Maple brings and we are very proud to launch this new pool with a respected institution such as Flow Traders.”

Maven 11 will issue loans to a diversified set of borrowers the team already has an on-chain commercial history and track record with, including Wintermute and Auros. These trading firms have performed well during times of increased market volatility, which makes them a suitable lending partner for allocators looking for uncorrelated market exposure. Flow Traders, a leading global market maker, borrows from DeFi for the first time.
"This new pool, created by Maven 11, is an exciting opportunity for Flow Traders to expand its footprint within DeFi. At Flow Traders, our focus is to work with partners who are actively contributing to the development of the Digital Asset space and this new pool is another highlight of how Maven 11 is innovating in this space. We are looking forward to further building our partnership with them."
Michael Lie, Head of Digital Asset Trading, Flow Traders
The USDC Permissioned Pool has attracted institutional lenders Midas, Gadze Finance, AQRU and more. These organizations have passed KYC/AML checks to become whitelisted lenders into the pool.
For industry leading security and operating efficiency, the pool is securely created and managed using Qredo’s decentralized Multi-Party Computation technology, which takes custody of the digital asset on a decentralized network. Qredo expands the partnership further by lending a sum of $2M into the pool at launch.
“The Maple platform transparently shares loan details which has given institutional lenders the confidence to deposit large amounts into Maple, and particularly into the new pool from Maven 11. Maven’s demonstrated expertise has positioned them to take advantage of new market conditions. We look forward to future opportunities as more institutions become aware of the transparency that Maple’s infrastructure offers.”
